Morality is our ability to learn the difference between right or wrong and understand how to make the right choices. … Children’s experiences at home, & environment around them, and their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills influence their developing sense of right vs. wrong.
By ages 6 and 7, the ability to differentiate between moral rules, social norms, and personal choices matures, and children can take more circumstances and possibilities into account when thinking about the ramifications of different behavior

Children’s ability to understand that they can make right or wrong choices leads to more self-control.
Some moral behaviors are passed on by way of verbal stories or structured lessons. So be conscious of what you do or say in the presence of your children
